§ 153. Construction. Wherever the terms board of railroad\ncommissioners, or commission of gas and electricity or inspector of gas\nmeters or board of rapid transit railroad commissioners or transit\nconstruction commissioner or public service commission or public service\ncommission of the first district or public service commission of the\nsecond district occur in any law, contract or document or whenever in\nany law, contract or document reference is made to such boards,\ncommissions, commissioners or inspector, such terms or reference shall\nbe deemed to refer to the public service commission as established by\nthis chapter, so far as such law, contract or document pertains to\nmatters which are within the jurisdiction of such commission.\n
