§ 1206. Conflicting provisions. Except as otherwise provided in this\narticle, or in conflict therewith, the provisions of article eleven of\nthis chapter, including any plan that has been elected by the employer\nor is otherwise applicable under article eight of this chapter shall\ngovern the retirement benefits provided under this article. In the event\nof any conflict between the provisions of this article and any other\nprovision of law, this article shall govern.\n
