N.Y. VAT Law § 404-S*4

* § 404-s. Distinctive plates for the Saratoga national cemetery honor\nguard association. 1. Any member of the Saratoga national cemetery honor\nguard association residing in this state shall, upon request, be issued\na license plate bearing the logo of such association as illustrated by\nsuch association's shoulder patch. Application for such license plate\nshall be filed with the commissioner in such form and detail as the\ncommissioner shall prescribe, and shall be verified annually by the\napplicant.\n 2. A distinctive plate authorized by subdivision one of this section\nshall be issued upon proof, satisfactory to the commissioner, that the\napplicant presently is an active member of the Saratoga national\ncemetery honor guard association.\n 3. A distinctive plate issued pursuant to this section shall be issued\nin the same manner as other number plates upon the payment of the\nregular registration fee prescribed by section four hundred one of this\narticle, provided, however, that an additional annual service charge of\nfifteen dollars shall be charged for such plate. Provided, however, that\none year after the effective date of this section funds in the amount of\nsix thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be available, shall be\nallocated to the department to offset costs associated with the\nproduction of such license plates.\n * NB There are 4 § 404-s's\n
