§ 33. Temporary hiring. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the\ncontrary, a state agency shall select a veteran from the veteran\ntemporary hiring list when making a temporary appointment provided such\nveteran possesses the applicable skills needed for the temporary\nassignment.\n
