§ 44-b. Liability of employer; compressed air illness. With respect to\nclaims filed after July first, nineteen hundred sixty-one, for\ncompensation on account of disability or death resulting from compressed\nair illness or its sequelae, the employer who is made liable for the\ntotal compensation as provided by section forty-four of this article,\nshall not be entitled to an apportionment of such compensation among\nprior employers.\n
