11-05-04. Notice of election - How given

The county auditor of each of the counties affected shall publish once each week for at least

two consecutive weeks prior to the election in the official newspaper of the county a notice

giving the date of the primary election, the hours during which the polls will be opened, a

reference to the notice of the primary election for a statement of the places where the election

will be held, the names of the counties affected, and a fair and accurate summary of the

consolidation plan. The notice must state that the proposition to be voted upon will be:

Shall the corporate existence and governments of the county of _________________ and

the county (or counties) of _________________ be consolidated into one county

government pursuant to the consolidation plan?
