4.1-53-16. Agricultural seed - Additional label requirements - Limited applicability
1. In addition to any other label requirements set forth in this chapter, the label on each
container of barley, canola, dry beans, durum, field peas, flax, oats, soybeans, and
wheat seed offered for sale or sold in this state for planting purposes must include:
a. The kind of each agricultural seed;
b. The variety of each agricultural seed component constituting more than five
percent of the whole; and
c. The percentage by weight of each agricultural seed component constituting more
than five percent of the whole.
2. In addition to any other requirements set forth in this chapter, the label on each
container of agricultural seed other than barley, canola, dry beans, durum, field peas,
flax, oats, soybeans, and wheat seed offered for sale in this state for planting
purposes:
a. Must include the kind of each agricultural seed;
b. May include the variety of each agricultural seed component constituting more
than five percent of the whole; and
c. Must include the percentage by weight of each agricultural seed component
constituting more than five percent of the whole.
