6-01-11. Salary of commissioner. (Effective through June 30, 2029)
The salary of the commissioner must be within the budget approved by the boards. The
commissioner is allowed, in addition to the commissioner's salary, the commissioner's
necessary and actual expenses incurred in the discharge of the commissioner's official duties
within the budget approved by the boards. The commissioner's salary and expenses must be
audited and paid in the manner in which the salary and expenses of other state officers are
paid.
Salary of commissioner. (Effective after June 30, 2029) The salary of the commissioner
must be within the amount appropriated for salaries by the legislative assembly. The
commissioner is allowed, in addition to the commissioner's salary, the commissioner's
necessary and actual expenses incurred in the discharge of the commissioner's official duties.
The commissioner's salary and expenses must be audited and paid in the manner in which the
salary and expenses of other state officers are paid.
