§ 111.28. Help America vote act (HAVA) fund; miscellaneous federal grants fund

September 30, 2021 House Bill 110 - 134th General Assembly (A) There is hereby created in the state treasury the help America vote act (HAVA) fund. All moneys received by the secretary of state from the United States election assistance commission for purposes established under the "Help America Vote Act of 2002," Pub. L. No. 107-252, as amended, shall be credited to the fund. The secretary of state shall use the moneys credited to the fund for activities conducted pursuant to that act. All investment earnings of the fund shall be credited to the fund. (B) There is hereby created in the state treasury the miscellaneous federal grants fund. Except as otherwise provided in division (A) of this section, all moneys the secretary of state receives as grants from federal sources shall be credited to the fund. The secretary of state shall use the moneys credited to the fund for the purposes and activities required by the applicable federal grant agreements.
