§ 113.15. Special auditors - powers

July 1, 1985 House Bill 201 - 116th General Assembly Upon demand of any of the persons appointed as special auditors under section 113.14 of the Revised Code, the treasurer of state shall submit for audit all his records concerning, and the assets of, the state treasury and the custodial funds of the treasurer of state. The treasurer of state, his clerks, or any other person may be questioned under oath by any of the persons making the audit, and the auditors may administer oaths for that purpose. The persons so sworn shall answer all questions of the auditors as to the condition of the state treasury and the custodial funds of the treasurer of state, and their testimony shall be reduced to writing and signed by them. The auditors may compel the attendance of witnesses and the production of records and may punish for contempt in the same manner as courts of record.
