§ 117.32. Surety may be sued in same action

July 1, 1985 House Bill 201 - 116th General Assembly In addition to the liability of any officer or employee for which he may be sued under this chapter, the surety on any official bond given by an officer or employee is liable on his bond up to the amount named therein. The surety may be sued in the same action in which the principal is sued, and this chapter applies with equal force to the surety as to the principal.
