§ 122.077. Energy star rebate program

July 1, 2009 House Bill 2 - 128th General Assembly For the purpose of promoting the use of energy efficient products to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in this state, the director of development shall establish an energy star rebate program under which the director may provide rebates to consumers for household devices carrying the energy star label indicating that the device meets the energy efficiency criteria of the energy star program established by the United States department of energy and the United States environmental protection agency. The director shall adopt rules under Chapter 119. of the Revised Code that are necessary for successful and efficient administration of the energy star rebate program and shall specify in the rules that grant availability is limited to federal stimulus funds or any other funds specifically appropriated for such a program.
