§ 124.29. Authority for temporary furloughs

September 29, 2015 House Bill 64 - 131st General Assembly (A) Notwithstanding any provision of sections 124.321 to 124.328 of the Revised Code to the contrary, if the operation of an appointing authority is dependent on funds from the federal government and those funds are not available or have not been received by the appointing authority, the director of administrative services may authorize an appointing authority to temporarily furlough an employee of the appointing authority. (B) The director shall adopt rules in accordance with Chapter 119. of the Revised Code to implement this section.
