§ 305.43. Conflict and appointment of new commissioner

September 13, 2022 Senate Bill 224 - 134th General Assembly If a county commissioner is required by law to serve as an ex officio member on a board, commission, or other body of the county or of another political subdivision, including a joint district, but has or may have a conflict of interest under division (D) of section 102.03 of the Revised Code, or has or may have an unlawful interest in a public contract under section 2921.42 of the Revised Code, regarding the commissioner's membership on that body, the other two county commissioners shall appoint an individual to serve on that body in place of the commissioner who has or may have a conflict or unlawful interest.
