§ 317.07. Delivery of seal, books, and records to successor

January 30, 2014 House Bill 72 - 130th General Assembly Upon leaving office, each county recorder shall deliver to the county recorder's successor, the seal of office, all books, records, and other instruments of writing belonging to the office, and take the successor's receipt for them. In case of the county recorder's death, the county recorder's personal representatives shall deliver the seal, books, records, and instruments to the successor in office.
