§ 321.35. Withholding school district funds to pay debt service charges

September 29, 2013 House Bill 59 - 130th General Assembly Upon demand of the treasurer of state while holding a school district, county, township, or municipal corporation obligation purchased under division (G)(1) of section 135.143 of the Revised Code, in making any payment under section 321.31 or 321.34 of the Revised Code, the county auditor shall withhold funds of the school district, county, township, or municipal corporation in an amount sufficient to pay debt service charges on that obligation and any of the fee for the agreement to purchase that obligation, less any amount deposited for that purpose under division (D) of section 3317.18 of the Revised Code. The county auditor shall promptly pay to the treasurer of state the amount withheld.
