Ohio Rev. Code § 511.09

October 1, 1953 House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly If a soldier's memorial is to be erected by a single township, the proceeds of bonds issued under section 511.08 of the Revised Code, other than any premium and accrued interest which shall be credited to the sinking fund, shall be placed in the township treasury to the credit of a fund to be known as "the memorial fund." If such bonds are issued by two or more townships to build a joint building, the board of township trustees of each township shall select one of its members, who, with the other board members so selected, shall constitute and be known as the "memorial trustees." Such trustees may perform all acts imposed upon the board of township trustees by sections 511.10 to 511.14 , inclusive, of the Revised Code. "Board of township trustees" as used in sections 511.10 to 511.14 , inclusive, of the Revised Code, with reference to the powers and duties of such board as to the construction of such memorial building, monument, statue, or memorial, includes "memorial trustees" in case of a joint building. Such fund shall be paid out upon the order of the board of township trustees. Upon the completion of the memorial building, monument, statue, or memorial, any unexpended balance shall be transferred and placed to the credit of the sinking fund.
