§ 705.80. Appointment and removal of officers

October 1, 1953 House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly Subject to sections 705.01 to 705.92 , inclusive, of the Revised Code, all officers, clerks, and employees of the several departments of government of a municipal corporation organized under sections 705.71 to 705.86 , inclusive, of the Revised Code, and subdivisions thereof, shall be appointed, employed, suspended, or removed by the head of such department. The mayor may, without assignment of reason, remove any department head appointed by him.
