§ 749.23. Meetings of board - rules and regulations - quorum - clerk

October 1, 1953 House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The board of hospital trustees shall hold meetings at least once a month, and shall adopt all necessary rules for the regulation of its business. It shall keep a complete record of all its proceedings, which record, or copy thereof, certified by the clerk of the board, shall be competent evidence of the transactions of the board in all the courts of this state, and the ayes and nays shall be called upon the passage of every resolution or order. Five members of the board shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of all business, and no resolution or order shall be adopted or contract or other obligation entered into unless five members vote in favor thereof. No member of the board shall be interested, directly or indirectly, in any contract concerning any hospital under the control of such board. The municipal auditor or clerk shall act as the clerk of such board, and shall receive no additional salary or compensation for such services.
