Ohio Rev. Code § 905.503

August 21, 2014 Senate Bill 150 - 130th General Assembly (A) As used in this section: (1) "Political subdivision" means a county, township, or municipal corporation and any other body corporate and politic that is responsible for government activities in a geographic area smaller than that of the state. (2) "Local legislation" includes, but is not limited to, an ordinance, resolution, regulation, rule, motion, or amendment that is enacted or adopted by a political subdivision. (B)(1) No political subdivision shall regulate the registration, packaging, labeling, sale, storage, distribution, use, or application of fertilizer, or require a person licensed or registered under sections 905.31 to 905.99 of the Revised Code to obtain a license or permit to operate in a manner described in those sections, or to satisfy any other condition except as provided by a statute or rule of this state or of the United States. (2) No political subdivision shall enact, adopt, or continue in effect local legislation relating to the registration, packaging, labeling, sale, storage, distribution, use, or application of fertilizers.
