Ohio Rev. Code § 907.081

October 29, 2003 House Bill 143 - 125th General Assembly Any person who disseminates, with the intention of inducing a sale, any advertisement or makes any claim concerning the vigor, vitality, growth, yield capability, or any other quality or performance characteristic of any agricultural, vegetable, or flower seed shall maintain complete and accurate records of the tests used to determine the characteristic and of the results of the tests and shall submit the records to the director of agriculture upon request. Any person who uses an agricultural, vegetable, or flower seed may request the director to require the person who disseminated any advertisement concerning any of the above characteristics to submit the person's records to the director. In accordance with division (A) of section 907.10 of the Revised Code, the director may conduct such tests as the director determines necessary to verify the information in such records. If the director's tests indicate that the information in the records is invalid or unreliable, the director may issue a stop-sale order pursuant to division (C) of section 907.11 of the Revised Code.
