Employment of engineers - Acts necessary for erection,

operation and repair.

The municipal governing body may appoint and employ all

engineers and other officers to superintend and operate waterworks

both during and after the construction of the same as may be

necessary. The governing body may do all acts it deems necessary

for the erection or operation, alteration and repair of the

waterworks.
