Oklahoma Statutes - Title 19. Counties and County Officers Page 348
For the purpose of cooperating with the State of Oklahoma in
conserving the material resources of the state, any incorporated
city or town within a county having in existence a county planning
commission, as authorized in this act, is hereby authorized to
contract with or retain such commission to function as an advisory,
consultative, and coordinating agency for such city or town in its
urban planning activities.
