Contract commercial fishing

A. Contracts may be awarded by the Department to commercial
fishermen and the contract fee to the Department may be a percentage
not to exceed two percent (2%) of the total catch value.
B. Commercial fishermen operating under contract shall operate
under all of the provisions of Sections 4-103, 4-104, 4-105, 6-201
and 6-203, with the exception that the Commission may liberalize the
type of gear, species to be taken, area of operation, net mesh size
and other activities of contractors.
