Authorized purchase of lottery tickets by officers and

employees.

Officers and employees whose duties require participation in

investigations conducted by the Oklahoma Lottery Commission may

purchase lottery tickets only when such actions are part of an

official lottery investigation that is approved in advance by the

Executive Director or their designee. No ticket purchased may be

shared or assigned in any manner to an otherwise eligible

participant. The officer or employee authorized to purchase a

ticket pursuant to this section shall not retain any prize or

winnings that may result from the winning ticket nor have a right to

any prize or winnings. As such, no resulting prize shall be

assignable pursuant to paragraph 1 of subsection C of Section 724 of

Title 3A of the Oklahoma Statutes.
