Any officer or employee within the Department who shall misuse
or misappropriate any funds or other property of a canteen
established at an institution within the Department shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not to exceed
One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or confined in the county jail for
not more than one (1) year, or both such fine and imprisonment.
