Malpractice insurance for certain employees

Official statutory text

The Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services may

purchase, with public funds, insurance to protect against

malpractice and other liability on the part of professional staff

and other employees, administrators and members of the Board of

Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. This section shall not

be construed to make the state, the Board, or any division of the

Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services liable for

damages from any cause.
