Operation without franchise unlawful when franchise

granted to another.

Where any city or town has granted a franchise for the operation

of auto buses, as provided in Section 1, and auto buses are being

operated under such franchise by the holder thereof, it is hereby

declared to be unlawful for any other person, firm or corporation to

operate such auto buses without a franchise therefor.
