Increase of grants

The Oklahoma Department of Public Welfare is hereby authorized

and directed, subject to the approval of the Oklahoma Public Welfare

Commission, to increase grants in the old-age assistance category,

aid to blind category, and aid to permanently and totally disabled

category when, in its judgment, sufficient funds are accumulated to

maintain a one month's surplus in each of the accounts of the

department and when sufficient funds are available to maintain the

increase for a biennium, in order to guarantee a continuity of

dependable payments to the recipients of public assistance.
