Application for Earned Income Tax Credit - Assistance

The Department of Human Services shall ensure, to the fullest

extent possible, that any recipient of benefits under the Temporary

Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the food stamp programs,

who may qualify for receipt of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC),

pursuant to 26 U.S.C., Section 32(a-j), applies for such credit.

The Department shall have EITC forms readily available and shall

provide assistance and encouragement to those wishing to apply for

the EITC.
