Reimbursement of expenses - Protection from liability

Official statutory text

A. Members of the State Board of Medical Licensure and

Supervision and members of the Respiratory Care Advisory Committee

shall be reimbursed for all actual and necessary expenses incurred

while engaged in the discharge of official duties pursuant to this

act in accordance with the State Travel Reimbursement Act.

B. Members of the Board and Committee shall enjoy the same

rights of protection from personal liability as those enjoyed by

other employees of the state for actions taken while acting under

the provisions of the Respiratory Care Practice Act and in the

course of their duties.
