The required examination approved by the State Board of

Cosmetology and Barbering for licensure under the Massage Therapy

Practice Act shall be a standardized national massage therapy

examination that meets the following criteria:

1. Is statistically validated through a job analysis under

current standards for educational and professional testing;

2. Complies with pertinent state and federal equal employment

opportunity guidelines;

3. Is available to all potential licensing candidates; and

4. Is delivered through a professional testing company with

high-security test centers located nationwide.
