Standards in regulations, orders and rules

Official statutory text

The Board and the Commissioner, in the exercise of the power to

make orders and rules and to issue regulations pursuant to this

Code, shall act in the interests of promoting and maintaining a

sound banking system and sound trust companies, the security of

deposits and depositors and other customers, the preservation of the

liquid position of banks and in the interest of preventing injurious

credit expansions and contractions.
