Purpose of law - Successive levies for school building

Official statutory text

It is the purpose of this act to dispose of surplus tax

collections hereinabove referred to in keeping with "no tax levied

and collected for one purpose shall ever be devoted to another

purpose" as provided in Section Nineteen (19), Article Ten (10),

Oklahoma Constitution. Nothing in this act shall prevent a school

district from levying successive levies for the purpose of erecting

a building.
