Building Bonds Commission - Indebtedness - Purposes
Official statutory text
The State of Oklahoma Building Bonds Commission, created by
Section 57.302 of Title 62 of the Oklahoma Statutes, acting for and
on behalf of the State of Oklahoma, shall be the agency by and
through which the State of Oklahoma shall incur indebtedness to the
extent of the sum of Thirty-five Million Five Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($35,500,000.00) as principal, for the purpose of
constructing new buildings and other capital improvements, and for
equipping, remodeling, modernizing and repairing any and all
existing buildings and capital improvements, at the constituent
institutions of The Oklahoma State System of Higher Education
provided that Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000.00) thereof shall be
used to construct and equip a school and hospital for children with
intellectual disabilities in Northeastern Oklahoma pursuant to, and
under authority of, Section 34 of Article X of the Constitution of
the State of Oklahoma and Section 57.15 et seq. of this title.
