In cities and towns and in areas outside the corporate limits of
a city or town, shooting galleries shall close from 11:59 o'clock
p.m. Saturday until 8:00 a.m. Monday, except that cities having a
population in excess of fifty thousand (50,000), according to the
next preceding Federal Decennial Census, may permit the operation of
shooting galleries during the period from 11:59 o'clock p.m.
