Theory oriented education programs

Official statutory text

The development of technical and occupational education that is

more theory oriented and requires knowledge of mathematics and/or

the physical sciences for specialization in the engineering and/or

scientific fields for preparation of support technician personnel

such as engineering technicians, registered nurses and medical

technicians, though not exclusive of other similar areas, shall be

accomplished in institutions of higher education under the

jurisdiction of the State Regents.
