Official statutory text
Each community junior college shall comply with, and be
accredited under, standards and regulations prescribed by the State
Regents; and shall offer courses of study and educational programs
and shall grant certificates and degrees as authorized by the State
Regents in order that the educational activities of the junior
college shall be coordinated with the total public effort for higher
education in the state.
