Severability

Official statutory text

A. If any part of this act be decided by the courts to be

unconstitutional or invalid, the same shall not affect the validity

of this act as a whole, or any part thereof other than the part so

decided to be unconstitutional or invalid.

B. If the adjudication of unconstitutionality has the effect of

invalidating any payment of compensation under this act, the amount

of any compensation paid under this act on account of the injury

shall be deducted from the amount of damages awarded in the action

in respect to the injury.
