SECTION 59-1-449. State Department of Education to report state and local funding requirements to local entities.

Official statutory text

The State Department of Education shall report no later than May first in each year to all local government entities having the authority to levy school taxes the amount required in the applicable school districts to provide the state-required minimum effort and an analysis of all local effort requirements for the applicable districts, including the figures used in the computation of: (1) local salary supplements; (2) Education Finance Act foundation program; and (3) per pupil maintenance of effort.
