Annual meeting--Board officers elected--Treasurer appointment, bonded--Voting

Official statutory text

Each water development district board of directors shall hold an annual meeting in January. At the annual meeting, the directors shall elect from among themselves a chair, a vice chair, and a secretary. Each officer elected in accordance with this section shall hold office until the next annual meeting or until a successor has been elected.

Each board of directors shall appoint a treasurer who may be a director and who shall serve at the pleasure of the board. The treasurer must be bonded in an amount determined by the board.

The chair, vice chair, secretary, and treasurer constitute the officers of the board of directors. The treasurer has voting privileges only if the treasurer is a director.
