Run-off elections for initial directors

Official statutory text

Within thirty days after a general or special election for the initial directors of a water development district, the Board of Water and Natural Resources shall hold a run - off election for each director area in which no candidate received a majority of the votes cast. The run - off election must be between the two candidates receiving the most votes during the general or special election. The district is responsible for the costs of the run - off election.
