§ 188.016. FILING AND MARKING IN OFFICE OF SECRETARY OF STATE; FEE.

Official statutory text

(a) The notice of claim of lien shall be filed and marked in the office of the secretary of state in the same manner as a financing statement is filed and marked under Section 9.519, Business & Commerce Code.

(b) The uniform fee for filing and indexing and for stamping a copy furnished by the secured party is the same as the fee assessed under Section 9.525, Business & Commerce Code.
