§ 154.158. ENFORCEMENT OF CONTRACT.

Official statutory text

A seller that violates Section 154.101 may not enforce a prepaid funeral benefits contract, but the purchaser or an heir or legal representative of the purchaser is entitled to recover:

(1) the amount paid to the seller under the contract; and

(2) the amount paid to a fund or for an investment, security, or contract, including a contract or policy of insurance authorized by the Texas Department of Insurance.
