§ 103.015. GIFTS AND GRANTS.

Official statutory text

(a) The council may receive gifts and grants from any public or private source to perform its duties under this chapter. The department shall accept the gifts on behalf of the council and shall deposit any funds accepted under this section to the credit of the general revenue fund.

(b) The department may retain five percent of any monetary gifts accepted on behalf of the council to cover its costs in administering this section.
