§ 12.503. NOTICE OF SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION.

(a) After notice and hearing as provided by Section 12.502 of this code, the department shall notify the licensee or permittee of the suspension or revocation of the license or permit.
(b) The notice under this section must be given personally or by registered or certified mail.
(c) The suspension or revocation takes effect when the notice under this section is given or delivered.
