§ 224.063. SUFFICIENCY OF FUNDS.

(a) Before contracting under this subchapter, the commission shall determine that it will have sufficient funds available in the year of acquisition to meet its financial obligations under the contract.
(b) Payment of any obligation in the contract is contingent on a legislative appropriation for that purpose in the year the obligation is due, and the contract must state that fact.
