§ 26.130. DUTY OF DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH.
Official statutory text
The Texas Department of Health shall continue to apply the authority vested in it by Chapter 341, Health and Safety Code, in the abatement of nuisances resulting from pollution not otherwise covered by this chapter. The Texas Department of Health shall investigate and make recommendations to the commission concerning the health aspects of matters related to the quality of the water in the state.
