Extensive courtroom experience, detailed fact investigation, and a command of the law are often the difference between winning and losing at trial. But the best lawyers know that every case need not end up before a jury. Many cases can and should settle, and these settlements require a different, but no less important, skill set. A personal injury lawyer must know his client's capacity for risk and advise that client accordingly. Where a prolonged jury trial may be the best recommendation for one client, arbitration or mediation may be the better option for another client. Each case, like each client, is different.. For over 34 years, I have been advocating for individuals to get them full and fair compensation for the medical costs, pain and suffering, permenent injuries and disfigurement, and life disruption they have been forced to endure through no fault of their own.
