James returned to Southern California, where he has since been practicing primarily bankruptcy law. James is likewise proficient in personal injury, workers compensation, immigration, and adoption law.. James has successfully represented thousands of clients in bankruptcy proceedings throughout the entire State of California.. James is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of California and the United States Bankruptcy Courts in the Southern, Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts.. James is also an active real estate broker in the state of California and a member of the San Diego County Association of Realtors.. His past and present professional affiliations include:. "I enjoy practicing bankruptcy law because I find it personally rewarding to help others become unshackled from stress-inducing toxic debt. I handle the majority of chapter 7 bankruptcy cases for the firm, while my brother Jonny handles the chapter 13 cases.". James has been married since 2001 and has seven children. "I believe that Christian lawyers should not leave their faith at church after Sunday services, but rather live it in and out of the courthouse."
